Oncotype DX is a genomic test, meaning that it measures the expression of certain genes in prostate cancer cells. The Oncotype DX GPS test uses a tissue sample from a biopsy performed within the last three years. So, if you’ve had a recent biopsy, no additional procedure is needed.
